Teacher Certification

The 200-hour yoga teacher training course lays a foundation to become an effective and certified yoga teacher. Besides making you adept as a yoga teacher, this course also will lead you towards personal transformation. On successful completion of the course, you will be able to register as a trained yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.


Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the physiology of yoga: physical postures, breathing techniques, meditation practice Demonstrate competency in using controlled movement to begin, maintain, and end the yoga postures.

  • Develop skills, knowledge, and interest to independently maintain a regular yoga practice.

  • Monitor and modify the independent yoga practice to ensure maximum physical and mental benefit.

  • Acquire a non-competitive, positive self-image in regard to their own body and yoga practice.

  • Use body awareness and self-visualization to achieve proper position and alignment in the yoga postures.

  • Develop an understanding of which asanas are best suited towards own physical development and well-being.

  • Create an individualized yoga practise and continue to modify it in order to ensure personal benefit.

  • Develop an appreciation of individual strengths and limitations in relation to their yoga practice.
